After learning that they were the twin sons of Galen, heir to the throne of the elfin kingdom of Aranmore, Conor and Roland made the hazardous journey from the Human World through The Way to warn the king of a plot to overthrow the kingdom, and to meet their father for the first time. They were pursued by an evil elf named Maeron, who was consumed by hatred after being banished from the kingdom, but the twins managed to evade him and reach Aranmore.

Now, Maeron wants revenge.

Furious at being outwitted by Conor and Roland, he plans to exact his revenge by going to the Human World and capturing the twins’ mother. Conor and Roland must travel back through The Way, by a different route this time, to reach their mother before Maeron does.

Along the way they meet up with two sea elves, and with their new friends they must overcome one danger after another, with Maeron in pursuit all the way.

Will Conor and Roland reach the Human World in time to save their mother?

What part will their father play in the rescue? And what will become of Maeron?
